Private Networking Groups

CMA creates these groups by member request, in response to a stated desire to network with industry peers on a highly specialized topic.  CMA will identify those peers for you (in the companies you are most desirous of interacting with, plus others we will suggest).  The CMA circulates contact information to group members only – after receiving each person’s expressed permission to do so.

The individuals in these groups then contact each other directly, hold group web-meetings, and participate in-person in private sessions annually at the US conference.  CMA will facilitate these meetings, or the group can arrange their own meetings.   The primary purpose is to introduce you to your industry peers who are also vitally interested in these issues.

The purpose of ‘Category’ private groups is to discuss issues and problems unique to that category. Participants in these group then contact each other directly, hold group web-meetings, and participate in-person in private sessions annually at the USA conference. CMA will help facilitate these meetings, or the group can arrange their own meetings

The purpose of ‘Retail Customer’ private groups is to discuss challenges and opportunities in doing business with that particular retailer. The discussions may be triggered by anything and may focus on anything of interest to the manufacturers. In general, however, discussions center around a change in the retailer’s policies in any critical area.
The purpose of ‘Shopper Need State’ private groups is to address cross-category collaboration in order to serve the shopper better in one particular need state.
The purpose of ‘Special Interest’ private groups is to address any unique need which does not fit into ‘category’, ‘shopper need state’ or any other PNG
