Blaine T. Ross is an executive with more than 25 years of experience in the areas of category management, marketing, sales, software solutions and consulting. He has a successful track record of identifying opportunities and providing value-added solutions for manufacturers and retail clients within the CPG industry. He is widely known as a leader who delivers superior results that improve business goals and profits.
Prior to joining the Category Management Association, Blaine held the position of Vice President of Business Development for The Nielsen Company. He has also held several senior level leadership positions at Spectra Marketing, Proscape Technologies, Logistics Data Systems, and The Quaker Oats Company.
Blaine earned his Executive MBA From Northern Illinois University and Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Communication from Ohio University. Currently an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University teaching courses and lecturing in category management, consumer segmentation, market research, as well as sales strategy and technologies.

Prior to joining the Category Management Association’s Certification Board, Phil was Director of Business Planning at The Nielsen Company. While there he held a variety of senior level positions in client management. During that time he worked with all the major CPG retail chains, leading initiatives that drove the development of syndicated POS data, store level research and consumer applications. He also led a university program that made available resources for schools with a curriculum tied to the category management process.
Phil currently sits on two university advisory boards: the DePaul University Center for Sales Leadership program; the Western Michigan University Food Marketing program. Throughout his career he has been a guest lecturer at several universities. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN

Luis Eduardo tiene los estudios de Ingeniero Bioquímico con un MBA por el ITESM, con mención honorifica. Es un activo expositor en diferentes conferencias en México, Estados Unidos y Latinoamérica, y ha impartido clases en prestigiosas universidades de México.
Luis Eduardo has extensive experience in the retail industry, where he developed and lead areas such Merchandising, Marketing, Pricing, Procurement, Store design and Corporate strategy; in addition he implemented a Category Management and Shopper marketing model with great success. He has participated in the implementation of these models with some retailers in Latin America.
It also has extensive experience in multinational companies in CPG sales, corporate purchasing, logistics and production; Author of articles and editor of several magazines in the sector. Luis Eduardo has studies Biochemical Engineer with an MBA from ITESM, with honors. He is an active speaker at various conferences in Mexico, U.S. and Latin America, and has taught at prestigious universities in Mexico.
