Shopper Insights Management Association, the newly launched professional association supporting Shopper Insights professionals, along with Category Management Association, today announced a partnership with Trend Hunter, the world’s largest and most popular trend community.

Based in Toronto, Trend Hunter leverages big data, human researchers and AI to identify consumer insights and deep dive opportunities for the world’s most innovative companies including Coca-Cola, Adidas, Victoria’s Secret, IBM, Cisco, Microsoft and NASA.

SIMA and CMA are Professional Associations that exist to help members drive meaningful category and brand growth through a deep understanding of the shopper along with a strategic collaboration between retailers, suppliers and their solution providers. This partnership with Trend Hunter will bring exciting new content and research to the SIMA/CMA members immediately on the heels of the first joint initiative at the 2019 CMA/SIMA Annual Conference, where Trend Hunter discussed Retail Innovation Trends and lead workshops on Retail Disruption.

Commenting on the partnership, Blaine Ross, President of CMA said, “Trend Hunter’s unique research approach has made them the world’s largest trend report and consumer insights platform. Ensuring that our members stay connected and in-tune with the latest developments in their industries is mission critical to the SIMA and CMA organizations, making Trend Hunter the perfect partner to provide us with relevant, actionable insights”.

Jeremy Gutsche, CEO of Trend Hunter added, “We are excited to partner with a cutting-edge association that prioritizes innovation. We are honored to be a part of SIMA and CMA events and are looking forward to staying connected to the association and its members for the future.”
